Anyone use this service or have experience with them? It was a link passed on from a friend that uses them and claims he gets pretty good deals and upgrades due to the newsletter.

I typically watch Flyertalk and other forums for these kinds of deals and info, but wanted to see who might use this as well.

If you know the game and watch FT I doubt this'll get you much you don't already know.

Mileage Run forum on FT and theflightdeal.com have just about everything covered honestly.

I don't have the time any longer for mileage runs, but with the amount I spend on cards for work and personal I get a lot of rewards travel. The FT forum has been money for us.

I don't mileage run that much anymore either, but I use the forum for good deals that are out there, not for mileage runs.

Mileage runs are when people fly to a place for (usually) no other reason than to earn miles towards status requalification. It sounds completely and literally insane, but I've done two to Hong Kong this year since I'm trying to requalify for American's Executive Platinum status.

As far as the mileage run forums go, though, while some people are actually looking for mileage runs on that forum, most are simply looking for great fare deals, which you'll find there. Just don't pay attention to the "immediate turn" part.
