Can I get some recommendations for Breckenridge in mid-May? First time to Breck for me and first time to CO for my wife. 4 adults, no kids.

We are up for whatever. Wife and I meeting some friends from Montana for 5 days. White water rafting would be fun, ATV trail. No expectations at this point. Just a relaxing time away.

If you're interested in my place, just let me know & I'll offer you a great discount. It might not be ideal for 2 couples if privacy is essential, but it sleeps 5. The loft has a queen bed & a twin bed; there is a full-sized futon downstairs.

You'll be in Breck for one of the quiet times of the year, as skiing is done for the year & the golf course is 1-2 weeks away from opening day. I'm guessing you'll be able to find a few hiking trails that are open. I recommend a trip to Breckenridge Distillery and Broken Compass Brewing, which are both 3-4 minutes north of Main Street. There's also plenty of great dining options. I'll be happy to make recommendations if you let me know what you're looking for.

Thanks Proud, we're staying in a house in Breck already. I'll take any recommendations though. Like I mentioned, we're up for anything.

Weather is going to be the thing. Could be snowing could be great weather. Tough to plan.

you could make a trip out to airport and visit BCC.

kidding aside (or not if you are into that), we went to Broken Compass. Its a small place, but their beers were pretty good. Several good restaurants as well. The crepe place/trailer is outstanding.

I would take a half day trip over to Vail Village if you have time, especially to get pizza at Vendetta's

Noah's Ark is a awesome family friendly raft company in the ARV... Browns canyon is awesome that time of year.

If you raft the Arkansas, check out South Main in Buena Vista... Tasteful development right on the river.
