Any recommendation on a company for this? My daughter needs one in about three weeks or less. Tia.

I had a trip to Cabo in 2011 and began packing on Saturday to leave on Tuesaday. I soon realized my passport was MIA. I live in San Antonio and drove to Houston to the passport office on Monday and was there when it opened up at 8 AM and had it by 3:00 that day. If you live by one, you may try to just go by there and have one made. I would print off the airline ticket as proof.

I live in San Antonio and got expedited passports last year for my wife and I. Costs a little extra but we got the in about one week. You need to go to a passport facility like a courthouse or similar. We did ours at the vital statistics facility in SA that does birth and death certificates. I think normal turn around time is 2-3 weeks but expedited ones are in a week or so.

I've always used VIP Passports Services out of Houston.

What city are you in? It's not hard to do yourself.

Our company uses CIBT, I mailed them everything on Friday and will have it back to me by this Thursday. they go wait in line and everything. I'm not sure how much it costs but I get to expense the entire thing.

If she is in Houston or Dallas she can do it through the passport office and you just have to pay an extra charge. No need for a service.

Bump. I'm in the same boat. Actually need it in about 2 weeks. I live in Amarillo, so a trip to a passport office is not possible.

I submitted my passport renewal via overnight mail on Feb. 24 and received it back in the mail on March 3 (7 days).

What about a passport name change due to getting married? Do you have to go thru the entire process again?
