IMO, Sea Ranch is the best place to eat and I think they take reservations. If you have to wait, sit on the deck, peel shrimp, sip a cool one and watch the boats dock. Food isn't nearly as good at Louie's Backyard but they have a dance floor and the view and fireworks are neat. Other than that, we pretty much made our own nightlife. Ate lunch several times at a brewery; can't remember the name but the beer and burgers are good. Enjoy.

Wanna Wanna Bar...grab a chair and chill. Food is actually not bad.....especially after a few cocktails.

There is a bar in what used to the Ramada. It has changed and don't know what the name of the hotel is now. Live band that plays good rock and roll. Small dance floor but beer is cheap.

I second the Wanna Wanna

We ate at The Sea Ranch and it was excellent. Also ate at Dirty Al's. Food was good if you like fried seafood( which I do) but had a two hour wait on Saturday night. For breakfast we ate at Teds on the island and Manuels in Port Isabel. Manuels was excellent and Teds was OK and a lot better than the hotel buffet.

Went to Louie's Backyard and to Claytons on the beach. Claytons was laid back in the evening while there was more dancing etc at Louie's.

We had a great time and I plan on going back again next year.
