Any one here have any good ideas for vacations for an expecting couple? The wife and I want to go somewhere relaxing yet affordable. Any one done this or know someone who did? Where did they/you go and who did they/you go through to set it up?

Affordable being a couple grand. We thought about cruise, but I've been on one and I'd rather be at the beach the whole time then sitting on a boat. I've looked into Costa Rica and some Caribbean, but was curious if someone had a great experience some where.

We went to Disney World...I was 7.5 months along. I wouldn't recommend it for many, but it was perfect for us. I don't enjoy the roller coasters anyway, so I went to the gift shop at the end of the rides and put my feet up and waited. I was still able to do a couple rides and watched the shows.

Mucho, she's currently 8 weeks. So we have plenty of time. We'd like to target July since our anniversary is then.

We went to San Diego. Stayed in the Gaslamp District a couple of nights and then out in La Jolla a couple of nights. It was just about right.

sounds like you just need a nice and relaxing trip. It all depends on if you like to go far or near, plenty of options for you.

Plenty of beach destinations within a few hours of flights (Mexico, Carribeans, etc).

There's also cruise as someone mentioned.

There are also road trip options...
