Been some good discussion so far about rebuild and scope, direction, etc. But I guess I'm used to reading it in the off-season thread.

Does that wait to kickoff until the entire playoffs are finished? I don't remember, and I've only been lurking on here regularly for 8 years or so.

I just can't watch the Yankees and dodgers win. It offends me to the deepest part of my soul. Either of those teams winning it all or even making the world series is bad for America.

As much as I enjoy watching baseball, right now I just can't do it. This ending just took something out of me.

Maybe the WS if it's entertaining teams. If it's LA v NYY I'm a hard pass.

While I've always loved the Astros, I also can't deny that my passion for it grew partially because the Aggies (my first sports priority) were a constant disappointment.

Right now I have more hope and optimism for the Aggies in all three major sports than I've had at any other time in this Astors dynasty run. So with the Astros starting to fall off I'm less impacted. This week was a huge example. I'm still on cloud 9 today.

2016 calendar year was the closest we've gotten to great from all 3 (technically baseball and basketball were 2015-2016 but I'll count it as the same year)

Football: 7-1 start (Trevor knight injury killed that unfortunately)
Baseball: supers vs TCU and SEC title
Basketball: sweet 16

Hoping 2024-2025 is even better

I expected these playoffs to be as good as 2022 overall and so far it hasn't disappointed except the Stros. Mets-Phillies earlier was a classic.
