I like it.

That said, I think both probably have a short leash. If they have a rough one or two abs and come up in a big spot a ph will be in order.

The biggest advantage is just avoiding the situation that was referenced above earlier in the 5th inning.

Having Dubon, Meyers and Altuve up in sequence is a recipe for extending a starter another inning

(ignoring the fact the Tigers are going bullpen; this lineup shouldn't be used again...ever)

Ummm.. JHey is not the player he once was, but the guy has 5 gold gloves and won Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.

The last GG was in 2017, but the guy is more than serviceable in LF.

I assume a RHP is starting for Detroit, so I would probably like to have Singleton start at 1st. Caratini gives more flexibility on the bench.

Probably not a huge difference in the data, though.

LHP opener Holten for Detroit. I doubt anyone will face a pitcher more than once, so I think Singleton will get a PH opp at some point.

I think it's more Manfred and MLB than it is the networks.

NBA has multiple games on at the same time during the playoffs.
