I think this was more it being about the Astros than anything. Pretty crazy they cannot get replay right, blind man can see that one. But MLB blackout rules are in great, right????

Likely would have been the call for any team (except maybe NYY or LAD). Some of the review rules are terrible. Foul tips are not reviewable, but HBP is. Astros could only challenge the no HBP ruling. NY decided there wasn't enough there to definitively say the pitch hit his arm. By rule they were not allowed to review/change the foul ball part of the call.

Kinda dumb they can review if the ball hit one thing, but not the other.

So idiotic that they can make all these changes but can't include foul tips...why? I'd love to hear their justification. Do they think there are that many that would be challenged it would slow the game down?

Even if NY "technically" got it right blue should have provided a make-up call because he knew what he heard was the ball barely grazing Breggy's jersey and not the bat. He looked at the replay too, he knew he f***ed up the call, especially asking 1B ump if he swung if he "thought" it was a foul tip based on what he heard.

Agree to a point but if the team did not crap the bed to start the season (just play around .500 ball) and this particular series or any of the frustrating games of late would not have mattered or at least not that much.

While I'd love to get to the #2 Seed, since going to this postseason format, three of the four teams that advanced to the World Series did not earn the bye so I'm mostly focused on staying in front of the Mermen.

So tucker misses 3 months then plays one day then joe says today was a scheduled day off, what was the point of him playing yesterday.

I think we will see a lot of tucker and Bregman alternating days the next week.
