That's horrible, even by Angel standards.

The conspiracy theorist says that MLB keeps him around to just be a lightning rod for complaints about umpires. A lot of umps can be bad, but they get ignored because Angel is worse.

My heart is full.

I got to see the great, inspirational, Joey Gallo-esque Angel Hernandez blow a call.

In today's Twins-Red Sock contest, at a critical moment a Red Sock batter went so far around on a check swing that he swung twice. Angel, the first base umpire, ruled that he held up.

Which maybe he did. The second time around.

I'm only sad that I didn't realize it was Him. I would still be hanging around the stadium waiting for him and his guide dog, so I could get an autograph.
