I can't say I follow college baseball recruiting all that closely, but PG has him as a 9 out of 10. That probably translates to a mid to high 4*.

Any have any info here? Is Schloss recruiting him?

Class of 2026 seems like it's a little early for it.

Part of why the NCAA just changed the rules governing offers and contacts from coaches effective April 26. Baseball is notorious for early commitments but when the kid who is a stud as a freshman doesn't grow and progress that "offer" gets yanked when they're a senior.

That's a problem, but its made worse by only having 11.7 schollies.

No doubt. There's been talk of going to 25 scholarships but I'm not sure if or when it's supposed to happen.

Seems like a Title 9 problem. If I'm not mistaken, you would either have to add a female competitive sport to make up the difference or cut a men's sport.

Quick hitter from Brauny is up if you have premium (here). Summary:

- Super athletic. Can play anywhere on the field. Ultimately thinks he catches and / or plays OF
- Very fast on the bases. Like very very fast.
- Great as the field skills are, he excels as a hitter. Elite bat speed and bat-to-ball. Very good power for his age and size.
