Game 2 of the 2005 NBA Playoffs First Round - McGrady dunking over Bradley

Was a youngster at the time but I remember going to the Alamodome for game 1 and game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against San Antonio in 1995. Had a blast.

Kiss of death or game 1 vs. Magic when nick anderson forgot how to shoot free throws.

It's the best playoff moment since the 90s.

But they do need to win on Sunday or else it will be diminished a bit

Outside of the Double Clutch documentary movie, I don't remember much about the rockets title runs. I was 4 when we won our 2nd title in 95.

Rockets Lakers 2009 game 4 was awesome, when we learned Yao was out for the year and then proceeded to murder them from 3.

Same here, I was only 4 when we won in 95, so don't recall much of the 90s. This is by far the best Rocket's game I've watched, might be number 2 if I saw Tmac's 13 in 35 live, but I turned that off

1. Game 6 of the 2009 WC semis where we beat LA without Yao and T-Mac to force game 7, 95-80. Sat courtside for that game and I have yet to hear TC that loud since.
2. Last night.
3. Eddie Johnson's game winner against Utah.

Anything before Johnson's game winner I was too young to remember.

In my mind that game is mostly known for Nick the Brick. Poor guy never recovered from that game.

(Of course these days missing 4 free throws in a row is normal)

I was young and don't the I appreciated how crazy it was for him to miss 4 straight.

However I have a vivid memory of Smith hitting his last 3 and everyone at my house going nuts.

Since I dropped my (weak) Rockets fandom, this would be it. Followed by any victories over the LA franchises.

I feel bad for you boys that were too young to remember clutch city, because really, for the entire city, there's been little else.

No kidding. Those were some fun times.

But time for some new moments

Actually easy call for me. Game 3 1995 playoffs vs Phoenix. Needed a spark and that game changed everything for the core unit. 4:25 mark.



Sampson shot a close second. I was like 10 years old in 86. I still remember my dad waking me up at the end to watch the last play. Great memories as a kid
