Seems like there are 2 separate threads for this series going on. Too difficult to do a full time switch to a Series thread when you're in the playoffs?

It's the difference in posting on Texags during an A&M game or posting on a neutral site and **** talking the other team fans.

Some people like to just talk amongst fans.

While I do agree with this sentiment, I honestly like to get perspectives from both sides when I'm talking about a game, especially when my team isn't in the game or series.

I believe I know a lot about basketball and how the game is played and the beauty of it, and I like to comment on things I see and try to add to the thread/game for others or learn from the people I watch games with or the fans of the teams involved.

Also, the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Fans of a team will usually defend their team to death or defy reality or other perspectives. When there is talk from both sides I tend to get a better grasp of where things actually are, and perhaps try to comment on what I see if I think fans are being stubborn to the truth. This is oftentimes misinterpreted as trolling, which is understandable given the internet culture, but I still think that I gain a lot from others on basketball threads.

Overall, who really cares because it is an internet forum and honestly it doesn't matter to me that the Rockets are allowed to have their own thread that only they can comment on, it is just fun to make fun of them for it.

Also, hardly any Mavericks fans ever post on here so I often have to resort to other teams to talk about basketball.

Rockets have two threads talking about the same same thing, better start another one to find out why.

No, watching Rockets fans meltdown is not really relevant to any team's season thread (unless we use the Rockets thread which we already know generates a tremendous amount of butthurt from Rockets fans and their moderators).

Why wouldn't they want all the tears contained in one place. Three people that will get butt hurt over it can just avoid that one thread.

If other fans aren't welcome to discuss the Rockets on the Rockets thread, those fans should be able to have their non-Rockets thread to post as they please as fans of other teams.
