Probably can handle 1 thread for both series.

Atlanta looks real impressive. John Wall goes down with wrist injury.

Not sure which way this series is going to go, but neither of those teams can win a championship.

But maybe I'm underestimating Atlanta

Apparently in reading the game forums, David Blatt is not nearly the same quality of coach as he was when he had Kevin Love and JR Smith.

My thoughts when watching this game:

Who has had a better career: Charlie Villanueva or Drew Gooden?
Gooden?

So in the Cavs game, they did a spoof of a Health Care commercial, which was a "tribute" to Dirty Dancing, but in the Cavs case, the man throws the woman because she is wearing a Bulls shirt.

I thought the whole thing runs a little long, but of course, there is Outrage(!) that this is an example of sports teams laughing at domestic violence. I guess the whole cycle is predictable...

Wow. How high do you all think he can get? IIf they make the finals this year, he may have another 4 games to add this postseason, possibly more.

If he gets to 65, that would be an unreal number

And with John Wall having 5 fractures in his wrist, the East is limping to the NBA Finals.

How odd that the Bulls are considered one of the healthy teams.

While Lebron is great, and also think this is an indicator how much the game rules and strategies have evolved over the years.

I agree, but more than anything I think it just goes to show how different a superstar like Lebron is due to his freakish size, speed, and athleticism. When guys drop 30, even in today's game, people notice. Hell, when some of the biggest superstars go for 24, 10, & 6, it gets some really good attention.

When Lebron goes for 30, 8, 6, it's almost expected. That's the most impressive thing of all.

But, even with new rules and strategies changing over the course of the game, Lebron is going to set a number that will be extremely impressive, and also will be interesting to see what some of the younger superstars these days could reach after another 5-8 years in the league.

By the end of this playoffs he could potentially be 6th all time in playoff points (currently 1 point behind Dr. J, and 182 behind Karl Malone who's 6th), 4th in assists (currently tied with Tony Parker for 6th, 2 behind Steve Nash, 3 behind Larry Bird), and 20th in rebounds (currently 9 behind Moses Malone, 31 behind Nowitzki, and 66 behind Horace Grant, who's currently 20th). He's also 10th in steals and 37th in blocks.

I know he has a lot of NBA miles already, but he's only 30 years old. It's truly astounding how much he does on a basketball court. If he manages to play 65 more playoff games, including this year, and produces at 80% of his current pace during those years he'll finish:

1st in points (most among SF)
7th in rebounds (most among SF)
3rd in assists (most among SF)
T-2nd in steals (2nd among SF behind Scottie Pippen)
22nd in blocks (2nd among SF behind Dr. J)

Pretty crazy to me.

Wow!! JR Smith ties it with a 3 with 10 seconds left, Lebron commits a foul on Rose (not called) but ball goes out of bounds with 3 seconds left, Gasol inbounds to Rose who nails a long distance banked in 3 to win the game at the buzzer

it may be time for the commish to send a memo to the refs -- it's starting to get serious now -- gotta have LeBron in the Finals

The commish is OK with Chicago in the finals, as long as Rose is healthy.

I thought the player control foul on LeBron was a good call (the one Dunleavy drew).

I was surprised in watching it live that Noah didn't get called for a foul, but in watching it again, I'm OK with the no-call, although I'm still surprised Noah wasn't called. JVG's complaint is valid about teams being granted a free timeout in that officials review isn't fair, but I'm not sure what else you expect teams to do unless you are allowed to have a player in the other teams huddle during reviews.

But that was a big time make by LeBron to win the game.

Considering the charge call against Lebron and the no call on Noah, I guess they missed that memo.

No kidding...don't know if the refs didn't see it, or just ignored it.
