Fify...I hope. Mavs won't beat the spurs.

Honestly, I hesitate to get too confident anytime we play the Mavs. It's a rivalry, and it's always a tough battle.

Even though I think we'd win it, I think it could very easily go 6 or 7 games like last year. That said, I'm glad we get to have another Duncan vs. Dirk battle. Could very well be the last one.

Oh, and I'm still not over 2006.

Depends on Parsons. It looks like the knee is worse than thought. At least the Mavs are getting rest, and the backups getting minutes, these last few games. I don't expect Dallas to win, but no reason it doesn't go 6-7 games. Certainly won't be a sweep, like all you Spurs fans predicted last year.

If we play the spurs, not having Parsons would be a killer.

The Mavs always seem to play over their heads against us.

Spurs got caught off guard last year. Mavs were playing playoff intensity basketball the last month or so of last season just to try and qualify for the playoffs while the Spurs were blowing everyone out by 20+ all season and were never really challenged. Opposite situation this year as the Spurs have totally upped their intensity and focus this last month of the regular season heading into playoff basketball. You could even say the roles have switched to some degree with the mavs having clinched the 7 awhile back.

Mavs could win a game or two, they certainly have enough talent to do that but I just don't see them catching the Spurs off-guard like they did last year.
