1.) Utah will take a white guy.

2.) The Spurs will draft some foreigner nobody has ever heard of.

3.) No matter who they pick, Cleveland will have screwed the pooch because they are Cleveland.

I think it depends on the year. Indy would have turned a comparable deal down for Luck too.

The perceived talent gap between the 1st pick and 10th pick is the rough equivalent to the gap between the 1st pick and 90th in the NFL draft.

Simmons had an article that basically talked about what a total crapshoot the draft is after the #1 pick so it's probably smart of them to turn that down.
