Malicious fouls, "inadvertent" cheap shots, etc. Miami has been playing that way for years. Glad to see Indiana is beating them at their own game.

Wade almost breaks Rondo's arm in 2011:

Wade clotheslines Darren Collison because he was pissed about not getting a call on the other end:

Wade elbows Lance Stephenson in the head:

Wade kicks Ramon Sessions in the nuts:

Wade breaks Kobe's nose (in the All Star Game):

I too loved seeing the Pacers win that one last night. It was an entertaining game. I hate the Heat! I dont have anything against Lebron, but my hate for Wade is strong!

I have never been able to respect Dwyane.

I don't mind the Heat, but Wade is one of my least favorite players. Wants to play dirty but then be one of the worst floppers in the game and project an image of the super nice family guy off the court.

I don't mind rough; Bruce Bowen is one of my favorite players of all time. There is a difference between the things Bowen did, which were the occasionally unavoidable collisions that happen when you play defense as tight as he did, and the way Wade will blindside someone with a premeditated elbow to the head.

Sounds like CP3.

That thought crossed my mind. CP3 is less vicious but flops worse.

Wade looked like such a ***** whining to the ref after Stevenson started talking

It was an entertaining game but the refs were god awful last night. They had no chance of getting control of the game and instead got in the way a lot of times.

It may not be a flagrant but there is no way you can tell me that LBJ getting whacked in the face on one drive with a shop by Scola and body wrapped on another drive with absolutely not intention to go for the ball should be considered a "common foul." There has to be a middle ground.

Wade and Stevenson was dumb. A ref tripped LBJ in the middle of a play. The list goes on. That was a poorly refereed game last night.

If that was the big ECF preview for each team, then it should have been the same for the refs in terms of the league office. They were awful all round.

It still ended with an entertaining finish and a chance at a last second shot for the win, so that's all the common fan cares about, but both teams have legitimate gripes with the refs last night.

0-2 on the playoffs against Miami

Miami was also missing Ray Allen.

There is no doubt in my mind that Miami reaches the ECF.

There is a little bit a doubt that Indiana does.

Whoever has to play Chicago in round two will likely be a little more beat up.

Anyone else think Lebron should opt out after this year if Indiana takes them down? Wade is still a great player in stretches, but is obviously on the decline. Miami in general is getting old.

Lebron has probly 4-5 more years of greatness left. If Indiana beats them this year, it's unlikely to think a similar Miami team could beat Indiana next year with another year of mileage added.

If Lebron is trying to maximize his championship potential for the next 4-5 years, I think there's a number of better spots for him:

Chicago can sign him if they amnesty Boozer. Rose/Butler/Lebron/Gibson/Noah would be among the greatest defensive lineups in history.

He could team up with Kyrie in Cleveland. If he really wants the lights NYC/MSG, he could join up Carmelo/Phil in NY. That seems like it would be a circus though.

Interesting thought... 76ers have Carter-Williams, Noel returning from injury, possibly the No. 1 pick in the draft (Wiggins), and a ton of cap space. Signing Lebron + another top flight free agent would immediately put them back in contention.

I think he should opt out no matter what happens this year. Obviously it would be tough to do if you're on the heels of 4 straight finals appearances and 3 straight championships, but I'm sure he understands the time to jump would be this year.

Opt out and get another max contract, with the Heat or without.
