It's Green right now, but Duncan isn't far behind.

Kawhi isn't scoring as much as Green, but he's doing a great job guarding the best player in the NBA.

I think Kawhi and Parker are the only other Spurs who have consistently delivered what they were expected to. Green has just outperformed, by far, what he was expected to do.

If it goes 6 and green scores 15+, it's his for sure.

Green all the way right now. Tonight he made 3 huge plays as the Heat cut it close in the 3rd to maintain the lead. Stopping the Lebron layup may have been the biggest.

Green's transition defense has been tremendous this whole series.

Don't see how you couldn't get it to Green at this point.

Does anyone have a link that lists the player stats for the whole series added up instead of looking game by game?

Green has a great argument but Duncan and Parker are not far behind. A lot of Green's scoring has to do with those guys and they are putting up nice stats as well.

If the Spurs win it should go to whomever of those 3 is the key guy in the close out game.

it's not even a question...it's Green. So many daggers. Most unconscious shooting performance in Finals history so far.

Each game summarized by one phrase:
1. Parker's legendary shot
2. Lebron's domination/Splitter KO
3. Neal and Green go crazy from 3
4. Wade and the Big 3 are back
5. Ginobili!

The problem with Green as an MVP is that he is the third scoring option, and he's only that high because he's shooting so well. He's getting open looks because the Heat are focusing so much attention on Parker and Duncan. Honestly, there is a good argument for any one of Duncan, Parker, Green, or Leonard.

Assuming it ends in 6....
-If Parker goes for 30+ with Green returnin back to earth then he can win
-Green wins if everything holds the same

Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who has no idea. Really shows how complete of a team the spurs are in my opinion.

Lebron

LeBron will win it if the Heat win 6 and 7. It'll be the only way they can win 2 in a row is if he dominates. He's had to literally be a utility defender against anyone the Heat ask all series and also run offense. The Heat have had sporadic good performances from different people, but if they somehow win the next 2, it'll be because of him and he'll win it.

So I'd say it's Green if SAS wins, and LBJ if Miami wins. Green's performance just can't be understated. While a good 3 point shooter, no one could expect for him to not only be producing so efficiently, but also at so many clutch moments(see tonight when Heat cut it to 75-74).

My problem with Green is:

He has had some nice plays defensively, but he is probably the 3rd or 4th best defender on the court at any given time. He gets abused by Bron posting up repeatedly.
Green isn't creating anything. He is setting up shop at the corner or the 45 and waiting for Parker/Manu/Duncan/Leonard to create a shot for him.

Soup...your problem is you're a huge Spurs fan and you watch the entire game, offensively and defensively.

The guys voting for the award are going to jizz over Green's shooting performance and give the award to him if the series and his shooting stays the same.

My predictions are who will win, not who I think should necessarily, if that makes sense.

Green has played good defense on Wade. He's too small to cover Lebron. He was outstanding in the GS series.
