I think LA needs another team.

I would love a team from the East to move to the West.
Bump Memphis over to the EC, preferably in the same division with Atlanta and other SE region teams.

ESPN has attendance numbers through half the season, Kings dead last in average attendance and are 28th in percent of stadium filled at home. They are
13th in road attendance as everyone knows they'll lose. Stern just doesn't want another Sonics type episode before he leaves.

What is so rich about this story is that Clay Bennett, the owner that moved the Sonics to OKC, is the chairman of the Relocation Committee that is rejecting this.

The NBA also bailed New Orleans out last year and sold the Hornets to Tom Benson to keep the team there instead of accepting a higher bid from group that wanted to move them to California.
