The clowns all over the Yankees vs the Rangers in the playoffs last year or the Heat love going on with abc?

Ernie Johnson last year in the Rangers/Yankees series was much worse. That was brutal.

God, I had completely forgotten about that no-talent assclown in the World Series. What a joke. I'm not someone who normally complains about commentary (or officiating for that matter) for every JVG there's a Mark Jackson sitting next to him that's leaning the other way.

But Ernie Johnson was completely ridiculous.

As a Yankees fan, I'd just like to say that Tim McCarver has been anti-Yanks for years. Even Family Guy ran a cutaway on it.

I think EJ was more partisan. But I think JVG is more of a boob, regardless of what team you're rooting for. Lots of his comments are schtick and silliness. But there are plenty of just asinine comments in every game.

I really wish TNT covered the finals. EJ, Kenny, and Barkley are the best pregame and postgame shows in the history of sports, and Marv & Steve Kerr are great also (throw in Reggie if you have to).

The only thing that could make that better is if you could toss in John Tesh's NBA on NBC theme from the 90s...that would be greatness.

Whats makes JVG even worse, is that he clearly knows the game of basketball.

'Hand down, man down' is the second dumbest thing I've heard in sports next to the okie light idiots high pitched 'pistols firing' catch phrase.

NBC's NBA coverage is lightyears ahead of what ABC is putting out there. But even if everything else were equal, this would put them over the top.

TNT's basketball coverage is hands-down the best production in sports today.

Despite the fact that he comes across as an idiot, once Charles Barkley stops being goofy he is one of the best and most insightful analysts in sports.
