Grizz won the series 3 games to 1 but all games were relatively close and I don't think they played any games after the Perkins acquisition.

Here's hoping for a good series!!

This is going to be a great series. Perk/Ibaka vs. Zebo/Little Gasol. Tony Allen and Shane Battier trying to shut down Durant. Young team vs. Young team. Should be fun.

I said it for the Spurs series, and I'll say it again. If the Thunder make their outside shots, they win this series.

If Durant gets to the line 25 times a game, they are going to win. T.A. did a pretty nice job denying him the ball last series.

Also, if Conley can play Westbrook even, the Grizz can win this series. Not confident in that happening.

Grizz played a great series. With that said, the Spurs were terrible and barely lost 3 of the 4 games. If OKC shows up to play they will win in 5.

i really wish the Grizz were playing the lakers and the Thunder got the mavs. Both teams are so much fun to watch and i don't want either to lose yet

With game 1 being less than 48 hours after the Grizzlies just won their first playoff series ever over the Spurs, I could see a blowout in the first game. Not sure they are mentally into the game.

how good would the grizz be with gay playing? i'd think they might have been faves to win it all. when did they get so good? it's like they came out of no where.

It all starts with their defense. It's been phenomenal. They are really impressive.

They look unbeatable right now with the way Randolph is shooting and the way they play team D.

those last 2 fouls they called against memphis were ridiculous.

It helps when they can be as handsy as they want with out being called for it.

i don't know about that but they certainly dominate the boards. lakers series should be good.

Grizz can't afford to meltdown and lose this game if they want a chance in the series. need to steal game 1.

Randolph is the new 2007 Baron Davis. But he's dominating in all facets like 1994 Hakeem. I can't believe this is happening. The Clippers were begging for someone to take him. Any of the contenders could have had him

Memphis already in good position to get to the WCF.

WOW.

Spurs traded for Richard Jefferson 1 week before LA gave away Randolph for Quentin Richardsons contract. Who knew?

But would the Clipps have taken the salty snack variety pack the Spurs sent to Milwaukee in exchange for Jefferson?

I'm impressed as well. Thought this series would be easy for OKC. Good, solid win.

They have been playing this well almost the entire 2nd half of the year. You just haven't watched them play very much.

didn't memphis draft thabeet a couple years ago? what happened to that guy? you would think he'd be an awesome compliment to randolph and gasall.

Not a whole lot of teams were willing and able to take on Randolph's contract. Lots of teams didn't have the cap space, and the Grizz still had a lot because of the Pau Gasol trade. Also, several teams were wanting in on the summer of LeBron, and Randolph's contract wouldn't expire before that.

In essence, they gave up Darko and Pau for Randolph, Marc Gasol, Darrell Arthur, Grevis Vasquez along with several other parts.

The thing is, had they drafted better in the first round in 2009 (now Rockets Thabeet and DeMarre Carroll), they could have been sitting with Steph Curry (who Hollins wanted) or Tyreke Evans (who Wallace wanted).

Also, I wonder how much of the Perkins defensive greatness should be credited to these two guys:
