I think the Clippers are playing over .500 ball in the last month and Griffen is averaging something like 25-14.

Blake Griffin is the best power forward in the league.

That case can definitely be made. Hell for the season he's putting up 22-13.

Its hard to argue that anyone is better now that Karl Malone is retired.

I have to admit, from what I saw of Blake Griffin in college, I figured the kid would be good for, at best, 15 and 8 this early on. I never imagined his athleticism was that far ahead of any other mortal human being who didn't sell their soul to the devil...making the Clippers relevant is equal to the land thieves or tard making the dance this year

15 and 8 isn't bad. That is probably rookie of the year type numbers.

James was 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1.6 stl and .7 blk his rookie year (Turned 20 in Dec of rookie year).

T Evans won it last year with 20.1, 5.3 and 5.8
Rose the year before with 16.8, 3.9 and 6.3.
Durant was 20.3, 4.4, 2.4, 1 and .9 (turned 19 in sept of rookie year)

Griffin is 22, 13, 3.4., .73 and .68 (Will turn 22 in March)

The last rookie to win ROY with 20/10 is Elton Brand.
Before that was Tim Duncan who averaged 21/12.
Before that was Shaq with 24/14. Zo lost the ROY that year with 21/10.
Before Shaq was Robinson at 24/12.
Before Robinson was Hakeem at 21/12.

So 4 players in the last 20 years have had 20/10 as a rookie. Three of those are first ballot HOFers.

Pretty good company to be in.

I'm telling you, if they can avoid the Clippers curse, this will be a very good team in a couple of seasons. They are incredibly young. Griffin & Jordan are easily the most athletic post combo in the league.
