Brown has filled in exactly where Ariza left off when he left the Lakers. Guy comes in off the bench and seems to score at will. How long do you think the Lakers will be able to keep Brown? I know he signed a 2 year deal over the off season, but somebody is going to pay the man.

As a Lakers fan I hope that this year he steps up and takes over for Fisher. Dude is a freak athlete. If that happens the Lakers probably sign him to a fat(ish) extension next summer. Phil is never going to really take Fish out of the rotation--and will lean on his savvy big time in the playoffs, where he can better keep up with the slower pace. For the regular season though, more Brown means less of opposing PG's blowing by.
