I thought Alonso was a sure thing at Madrid. But, I think it's truly shown the foundational cracks in Perez's approach the last few years. He's not focused enough on rebuilding the spine that was lost when Kroos and Modric left.

Vini makes it all worse. No press, lots of drama. Need to sell him and buy those players.

Vini and Mbappe don't fit together. It's clear they never will. The die has already been cast that Mbappe is more important. Have to send Vini on his way. Improve the rest of the squad.

Apparently Xabi left on his own. He was done with the egos and lack of respect from the locker room. I'm guessing the honor guard fiasco was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Real Madrid get knocked out of the Copa del Rey by a 2nd division team that is fighting relegation. Club is in absolute crisis now. They won't win a single trophy this year. Perez has to get his head out of the players' asses and make some tough decisions. Vini has to go.

They need to get tough veteran to come into that back line and grab his teammates by the neck.

I told a lot of my madridista friends that signing mbappe was the biggest mistake madrid could have made…they were ecstatic tho

Madrid won it all with vini before….i think the bigger problem is mbappe….the fact that psg couldnt win with him and wins it all immediately after he left speaks volumes
