The U-20 MYNT kicks off World Cup qualifying on Friday, July 19 vs. Jamaica, squares up with Cuba on Monday, July 22 and wraps up Group A play against Costa Rica on Thursday, July 25.

Huge FC Dallas Academy connections on this roster. Nolan Norris or course but Julian Eyestone and Keyrol Figueroa on the official roster plus Diego Garcia and Santi Morales are alternates.

This is the first time I've ever seen these names but excited to watch

2nd minute. 1 nil US.
Mistake by Jamila lead to a strong finish with no keeper and two defenders in the goal by Vasquez.

2 nil in the 3rd minute. Vasquez has a brace.

Another poor pass by Jamaica leads to another nice finish.

Conditions are horrible. It's pissing rain.

This announcer is already getting wacky calling the game by himself.

3 nil. Nice volley off a corner.

To say Jamaicas defense on this corner was terrible would be a compliment.

4 nil.

2 braces. Vasquez and Soma.

I get that the level of competition isn't great, but these U20 US players have some nice first touches and play intelligently. We'll see how the fare under pressure against better competition, but I'm impressed so far.

Was shocking to see some of the horrible first touches but man there are a couple of midfielders that has fantastic ball skills.

Apparently there was a shooting of police in one of the sites outside a teams hotel, probably not US or it would've been bigger new here. Anyhow, they moved all the matches to Leon. US plays tonight instead of last night.

Rom a friend of mine whose son is on the team.
