Watching Spain and Czechs now. I really feel like the Tiki Taka is the now worst enemy of Spain. Trying to play like they did during the golden generation from 08-12 and they just don't have the same quality of players. They seem to struggle with some basic stuff at times and then other times like great but not consistent enough.

Yep. It actually is a pretty cool competition, unlike CONCACAF's attempt.

It gives the top teams an excuse to play each other in a competitive format, but also gives the minnows a chance to move up.

It's actually pretty cool except the last time they changed the rules because Germany was getting relegated. Could not let that happen.

If England and France both go down, they will have to figure out a way to change the rules again.

They basically have 4 different competitions at the same time going on… Leagues A, B, C, and D. From what I understand, only League A advances to a playoff stage, and winners from the groups in the other leagues get promoted a league. Losers get relegated.

Actually CONCACAAF Nations League has relegation as well as is modeled after UEFA's version.

CONCACAAF Nations League FAQ
Yeah but the difference is that League A in UEFA makes groups where the recently promoted team is high quality (e.g. Hungary) and could actually threaten teams whereas we have only 3 team groups and they still have utter trash like Grenada at the bottom.

I wish we'd combine with CONMEBOL for stuff like this.
