I know what yall are saying but it is a charity buy for his school so he is trying to get the most for his school fund raising and your making him put a price that may take everybody out of the market

It is obvious he is not trying to make money pre se but would like as much as possible for his kids

So if this was coins I would be all over this regardless of the price posted and see what kinda deal I could make if a deal is possible

Good luck op I hope it works out I have sent this to my BIL he is a hotwheel fanatic

He sells hot wheels at car shows and gives about 400 away for toys for tots every year

We want him to make good money on this to help the school. We are just warning him how it usually goes on this board if you don't list a price.

Hot Wheels collectors are a fun group, and I bet you get some interest in this. But $6500 for 3 photos is going to make it a tough sell for you. I'd probably take some time to research what is rare/valuable and highlight those things. There are also quite a few local Hot Wheels groups that do shows/get togethers every now and then, and you might get more money from a group of collectors. Good luck.

I would def. take pictures of the higher end items when listing.

I did a quick search on some of the ones in the pictures and you'd be luck to get $5 each for them. (ex: Matchbox No14 '87 Corvette listed for $9 and free shipping on ebay and not moving.)

Just get high res photos of the top 10% and that should be sufficient. If it was appraised at 10k, then there should at least be a very detailed and ample documentation that supports that the asking price. You could possibly just post that and get some traction.
