Boys are 9 and 12 and need some new baseball gloves. Would like to find a couple that are already broken in and not so stiff.

We buy a few baseball gloves/bats from dick's sporting goods. They will let your kids try various bats in store. And supposedly they have a process to loosen the new gloves. Just a thought
If you already have gloves and they are stiff, watch this guys video. Aso is the best at breaking in gloves!! He does MLB gloves! I did my sons this way and it works great. Now didn't spend the same exact amount of time as him, so it also took some time of playing catch.

I find this works but usually has to be a mid to higher end leather to make the desired difference.
Cheap gloves can't keep their shape no matter what the accelerated break-in process is.
