Just bought new mountain bikes so it is time to clear out some older bikes taking up room in the garage. I will post pictures in replies, but here are the details.

2007 Trek 5000 WSD (51 cm frame). My wife is 5'8" and it fits her fine. Carbon frame, triple chain ring, shimano 105 front derailleur and shifters, ultegra 9 speed rear derailleur. Wheels are bontrager race lite wheels taken off of my 2015 Trek Emonda. A few places on the seat tube with paint rubbed through to the frame from the anti sway cradle on our bike rack, scratches on the pedals and shifters from being laid down on gravel parking lots during group rides. My wife rode this in about 8-10 MS150s and it is a great beginner bike. Brand new Continental GP 4000 IIs. There is a cadence and speed sensor for a Garmin on the bike that probably needs a new battery, but was otherwise working last time we connected to it. Bicycle Blue Book says $280-290 in good condition. With the new tires and upgraded wheels, I think $275 is a fair price to ask.

2005 Marin Argenta (55cm) - SOLD

Late 90s(?) Nishiki Bravo comfort bike. This was a bike my sister got in the late 90s or early 2000s new and to my knowledge, I would be surprised if it was ridden more than 100 miles in its life. I put brand new wheels and tires on it late last year, but we decided to do new mountain bikes instead so they have never been ridden. The drivetrain could use some love and maybe a new chain. Brakes work, but need some adjustment. I would love to get $75 for this bike, but make an offer.

I am in Bastrop, but go to Austin fairly regularly and I am in Houston about once a month. Can also meet you in CS if you are interested. PM me here or contact me at my username at swbell dot net with interest.

I am interested in the Marin Argentina. I have a trek marlin 6 and need a road bike to start training for a triathlon, but I don't know if I'm going to get into the sport or not. I am 6' tall, would this bike fit me?

I am in Houston but could drive to meet you.
