We called that a water buffalo at the duck lease in Palacios.
How wide is it?
I'm just west of Katy and would probably take it to farm in La grange if not too wide.

Corn stalk cutter. When you are done you flip it over and pull it with the sled on bottom. My grandfather said it used to work the snot out of you and rattle. You for days (in his rocky fields)

If that came from Katy, it is an early snake killer roller, which was used in a flooded field before water planting rice. I'll bet it was pulled with an old steel wheel tractor in the 40s or later.

Today we use one in a post harvest rice field to make a duck blind hole. It works in the water.
