people find out your address and come steal it. *shrug* I dunno. That's basically like giving your personal contact info away.

TexAgs probably not as big of an issue... Craigslist, who knows what sort of psychos peruse those listings.

But…you publicly display your license plate every day when driving. How is posting a photo of it any more dangerous than having it displayed on your vehicle every single day?

The internet is permanent and scraper softwares exist that can pull these down. Lots of nefarious things go on and come from craigslist these days.

Yes, you drive around every day and people see them but most people can't sit in one location and read every single one that drives by.
