I am looking forward to a number of things in Aggieland in athletics and I just wanted to start a thread that y'all can contribute to, pointing out the positives that we can take away from this season as we look to our next. I haven't altogether given up on this season, i still want to win every game, but when the season is going down the tubes, what's exciting for me is seeing the up-and-coming guys getting a little PT so we can see what we have to look forward to. Say what you will about this staff, we'll be in much better position when fran leaves than when RC left.

Here's a few things i'm looking forward to...

1. Chiefly the franninator and his abysmal coaching staff is gone, got to be the top of our list. Everything trickles down from here, we no longer have to sit by and watch this guy destroy the talent we have on our team, or let it go unused.
2. Jerrod Johnson, Stephen McGee I salivate thinking what these guys could be like under a competent coach, or if anything, just a different coach.
3. Goodson, Lane, Tarrant, Smith, Stephens, here's to having a sweet backfield for our team for years to come.
4. Roger mutha freaking holland, the next touchdown chad.
5. And absolutely one of my favorite things to discuss, Featherston, Lewis, Chavis, and Miller on defense next year, these guys could be absolute studs, and I can't wait to see them regularly next year, the future is bright in Aggieland.

We'll have plenty of talent on board that a really good (new) coaching staff can immediately turn into a contender. That along with a stellar recruiting class that a new staff can hold (current commits) and bring in can immediately put us where we want to be.

I feel for our current players who give it their all. A change in coaching will enable them to achieve their dreams and bring championship football to A&M.

I just hope they can be patient and stay with the program so that a new staff can help them realize their dreams; including high NFL draft picks.

We have plenty of talent - we just need coaches that know what to do with it!
