Anyone who thinks Urban Meyer would leave Florida for TAMU drinks more TAMU Kool-Aid than I'd have ever thought possible... and I'm a Kool-Aid drinker myself.

No. My source works closely with Byrne's secretery. They were talking yesterday and Byrne's sec said that she had to buy a last second plane ticket for Byrne to go up there today.

Apparently Meyer managed to hold it all together last year with the SEC championship and NC last year, but with an away game at an amazing LSU team, he knows that won't happen again this year and that everybody will be calling for his head. Plus, he has always like the unique traditions of a&m which remind him of a few that Cinci had.

If this came true it would be THE single greatest day of my life.

Don't believe a word of any rumor, don't care what the "source" is. Don't fire Fran yet, I got a football with the 6 coaches autographs at the game saturday. Still have to get Fran's on it so I will have every headcoach at A&M since 1958 except for Hank Folberg.

I'm sure Florida would give him permission to talk to our AD during the first half of a season where Florida is still ranked in the top 10.....this is bulls**t.

Yeah, this sounds a lot like Urban Meyer. He has a difficult road game ahead of him so he's just going to save everyone the trouble and throw in the towel now.

Meyer leaving Florida for A&M is just as likely as Tressel leaving OSU to caoch women's track at Akron.
