I was headed to the game and heard this song on the radio. (Aggie 96) Can anyone tell me who sings it?

It's songs like that and the Fightin Texas Aggie Song that sometimes make me shake my head in shame.

Frank,

Shame? I guess you can't identify with much of the song. Personally, I've experienced the six parking tickets, and the 8:00 in Heldenfels. If none of the song reminds you of your time at A&M, what were you doing?

I'm not a fan of "Sweet Home College Station". It doesn't take much talent or intelligence to copy "Sweet Home Alabama" and change a few words in the lyrics here and there.

"Fightin' Texas Aggie", on the other hand, is a great song. The music is good, as well as ORIGINAL, and covers all aspects of Aggie life, even if some were before my time: Heldenfels, parking tickets, Mr. Bill, pulling tickets at G. Rollie, the FTAB sometimes being the only redeeming quality at a football game, the Chicken, Robert Earl Keen, Taco Cabana, The Battalion (negative opinion, of course)...Unless you despise country music, it's hard to not like that song.

Along with Fightin Texas Aggie Song I'm a fan of "Fish Spurs" (correct me if I'm wrong on the title of the song)
