I know...

That is a VERY telling statistic...

So much Youth... however, with this many youngsters filling in key roles and building experience this year, we should be able to redshirt another whole incoming class (with the exception of a STUD running back or a STUD linebacker)

Didn't Phil Steele predict us to have a much better season despite the low "experience" ranking?

That looks like another goofy excuse to me ...

Sorry to keep asking Qs but I don't have a copy and I'm interested in this....what about guys who are listed as a starter at one position and a backup at another do they count twice (ex. Chris Alexander is listed as our starting FB and our 2-deep RB)....thanks

basically, I'm trying to calc us right now....how would you do it? 1 TE or 2 TEs? 2, 3 or 4 WRs? 1 back or 2?

1 TE, 1 back, 3 WRs (just using our top 3 WRs regardless of X, Y, Z, H)?

Doesnt matter...I'll just ride this thing into the ground if it happens that way. You can never tell when a team will begin performing and hanging your hat on success with experienced players is risky.

That much youth will definitely translate into a very rocky road for the first half of a season. As the young pups become more accustomed to the game and their roles/responsibilities, they will really begin to click assuming that the coaching staff is handling their transistion well.

Of course if you run our 2003 numbers, I'd bet they would come out pretty high....we started a couple of walkon juniors/seniors. Doesn't appear this thing takes into account how good the players actually are...

Many of your sophomores and freshmen had a redshirt year. Does anyone really think a redshirt sophomore, with 3 years in the program, is young?

agree - not excuse but reason why we suck. I think a lot of ags felt we were getting more seniors.

Lack of team experience and a senior QB who still makes freshman mistakes and innacurate throws are likely the two biggest reasons for our problems.

that was an inaccurate throw to mobley that caused him to drop it.

Goes a long way towards explaining the success at CU and the problems at OU.
