How great would this be? Big12/Big10? How about a Big12/SEC Challenge in football? One weekend with every team in action or two weekends - Big12 South vs SEC East one weekend and North vs West the next. I love the idea of the power conferences challenging each other for bragging rights. I just hate that we only see it in basketball. Ok so I'm dreaming but why not something like this? (rhetorical question. I already know) Every team could use this as their non conf toughie game and their AD's could still schedule ULaLa, Middle Tennessee or some other creampuffs to complete the non conf schedule. I know they couldn't schedule anything like this for probably 6-8 years but just think if they had done a deal like this back in the late 90's we would be preparing for it now.

Can we first challenge and beat the MWC?

In order to get Mack Brown on board we might have to challenge the Sunbelt so he can keep playing North Texas.

Not all of the games would be on tv. At most, maybe 4. Friday night, then Sat at 12, 3:30, and 8:00. That;s why it works in basketball, ESPN can broadcast all of the games.

tu already plays OSU next year, so that's in the bag. I hope we can get rid of some of the junk on our schedule next year and replace it with a legit Big X team.

TK,

Of course the games would be on tv. The Big 12 has a contract with ABC, TBS and Fox. 3 games a weekend. The SEC has a contract with CBS and the Big 10 has a contract with ESPH. With all the regional action games between the 12 and SEC would all make tv with the exception of Iowa State vs. Vandy. MAybe 1 margue matchup on Thursday night to start the season ON ESPN.

Games played at Big 12 teams home turf are on ABC, Fox, and TBS

Games played at SEC home turf gets put on CBS.

Pretty easy to get 7 games on tv.
