And? We can't control that. We can only make decisions on his current play. If the issue was more on the OC, Reed should be going to him and telling him what plays he is comfortable with? Instead we keep seeing the same bad passing and terrible reads.

That is not the same thing at all, that game was over and backups were put in. He did not "replace" Marcel

What were reed's first plays last weekend against Alabama? Evidence goes both ways, and there's a hell of a lot more against reed.

Apparently Hart gets one play to prove himself, then he's done for his entire career. But Reed gets 500 opportunities, and all failures get a pass.

As I posted elsewhere, if A&M does not change offensive coaches, Reed should go elsewhere (pro? transfer?) . This coaching staff is not helping him improve. He can't put 4 quarters together on the same day.
Reed was absolutely surrounded by NFL talent last year…and it made him an okay QB that still lost the big games at the end.
Who want a WB that has to be surrounded by amazing talent just to get him to "okay"' when they could have a medium high QB already that can rake you to championship with the kind of talent we had last year

Bottom line, we've seen the best of Reed. Not cutting it and the season is ruined.
Everything from this point should be geared for next year. Let everyone play, especially the QB's. Evaluate and keep who we want. Then hit the portal hard.

I'm telling you. The only thing that makes sense is that he or someone he's covering for is extremely compromised somehow. It's happening all over CFB and he's being made to look like the moran he is, but still doesn't care.

....the transfer portal opens on Monday, January 4, 2027, and closes on January 13, 2027....
....the last day for a college football underclassman to declare for the NFL Draft is January 14, 2027.
If I was Marcel, I would wait until January 14th to declare for the NFL draft because I'd want to see all the current backup QB's portal out and then I would tell Elko I would need $3 million to stay for 2027 season to provide stability in the QB room....and insist that Wiggins be allowed to stay for continuity sake. ... Tool or be tooled.

Both Hart and Reed played vs Citadel. Reed 8 -13 130 yds 1 TD, Hart 8-12 107 1 TD (with the backups)
