He certainly has worked his way up the ladder with no "gimmies". I'm familiar with his efforts at South Dakota State University. He lived a few blocks away from me. Good man. Was OC and I think O Line coach under then Head Coach John Stiegelmeier (like our RC Solcum, but John won a Natty in the FCS with Jason as OC). Jason has done well at all his stops.

Thank you for your post and observations. Coach Eck seems like great choice and his players play to the whistle. New Mexico played OU very close and dismantled their other opponents.

If this is serious and yall are ok with 7-5,8-4 being a down year, Jamey Chadwell. I think we will have more 10+ win seasons and the occasional "special" year. I don't think he's our Saban or Smart but I think he is a super solid coach with a fun offense.
