I can't think of the last time our offense ran this play.... I mean Reed dominated LSU in '24 and we've rarely seen it used since....Coaching staff incompetence or lack of trust in Reed to run now?

Marcel isn't big enough to absorb too many designed QB runs. Elko has said as much in recent pressers. His backups are both 18 years old and still developing and not ready, Elko has also alluded to this.

So we're just going to roll with the 55% passer because that's as good as it's going to get this year.

It's the Aggie way, we get something that works and the brain trust at the top decides we need to change it.

Prime example, Johnny in year 2. The new OC decided, with his infinite wisdom, that JFF was better suited to be a "pocket passing" style QB. They should have just supplied him with strippers and blow, we probably would have won two championships.

Too bad Elko didn't have this information sooner. We could have gotten a serviceable QB.

We run it all the time. Reed doesn't read it, just gives it to the RB every time even with the DE crashing down. Seems like he doesn't want to get hurt.

The Reed Option is standing in the pocket and running in circles until your knees buckle and you go down.

He did run it well the one time against LSU. He would have scored if not for a shoestring tackle.

That was the one good play he made.

Elko needs to be fired.

It's worked for two years so Elko decided to stop doing it. Make it make sense. wtf is wrong with Elko

I had this same thought last Saturday. Glad I'm not the only one. Terrible? Yes. Do I care? Not always.

Believe they ran it 11 times against Kentucky and handed it off 8 of those times.

Whoever is in charge of the portal acquisitions and didn't get a sizable back up QB in case the no. 1 guy who is not big enough to get hit a lot in a physical league needs to be shipped Texas A&M-Victoria to run their janitorial services.

There's no excuse for not having a jr or sr that doesn't break the bank on the roster in case Reed goes down.

SOMEONE would have jumped at the chance to be a back up in the SEC.

After how many games of true suckage do you pull the trigger and see if your other QB have anything worth developing?

Do you wait until you're no longer technically bowl eligible, or do you do it when it's just obvious? Like, now.

Probably too late to start over but borrow some of the concepts from Jamey Chadwell's offense.
