Lane using AI to become the smartest guy in the room, shocking....

Lane never made it past 12 years old, its why we love him, its why we love to hate him

Likely because Lane was using his friend for his professional knowledge without compensation. He says someone with a $91 million contract should have a top-notch lawyer on speed dial. I guess that's a hard lesson to his friend that if you want a lawyer friend to not share your private discussions in an ESPN interview, perhaps you should pay him for his expertise...

Oh that's a great idea! I fully support this decision as long as nobody but Kiffin uses this clearly superior advantage which will definitely work out well, and has a zero probability of failure or negative consequences.

I'm an advocate for using AI to check on things but best to ask the question a number of different ways if you want a decent understanding of what's what.

Example , I used AI to cross check what I thought was bad info from my tax people and was able to confirm they were indeed wrong. Saved me almost 2 grand last year.

He's so dumb that he continues to win, have people talk about him, and makes generational money

I don't think he's dumb.

I think he's arrogant, among other things. I don't think he was told no often as a child. In fact, I think his own father, a coach even said as much.
If you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me.

That's not a fair comment. ChatGPT can be a very effective legal aid if used properly. Guaranteed plenty of legal teams are using this amongst other AI tools.

yes but a lawyer using ChatCPT is totally different than a regular person using it for legal advice.

Ridiculous to use chatgpt.

Can't LSU rob a children's hospital or something to afford a LegalZoom subscription for Joey Freshwater?

This is objectively hilarious.

I do legal arbitrations for a living and while I do use AI to parse giant case files, I have to actively coach it through the argumentation process because it's wrong.....a lot. I have seen it assume important things falsely like numerical calculations and dates.

And this is to say nothing of the misinterpretations of state laws and faults in argumentative logic. It's useful just to get through the files but you absolutely have to monitor and coach it.

When we get written positions from consumers, you can almost always tell if AI wrote it or an attorney wrote it.

you should invest in a good legal LLM. mistakes are becoming rarer and rarer by the day.

exactly. I use it for my job too and if you don't have know the subject matter yourself it will return really bad results. you have to know what you're doing to use it properly

This. Every lawyer I know is using AI. You have to be careful, but it's a tool you simply cannot avoid using these days. Some clients are even requiring it due to its massive effect on efficiency.

That Kiffen used it to bounce off his lawyer isn't a big deal unless you're eager to rag on him.

This is accurate.

Earlier this year had a case against a pro se who, I believe, used CGPT or another AI interface. It got the cases right but neither it nor the pro se understood the differences between 2 particularly important legal concepts that we were, in fact, arguing. Turns out, their cases supported MY position and he didn't realize/know that.

In other words, it wasn't the cases that were important. It was recognizing the issues.
