Yes, he did.

He is also an Aggie, Class of '84. Since he left Miss St and headed to the job in Austin, he has a 162-37 record. Great hire for the sips.

He also had a great run at Miss St.

Wiki says his team lost in the finals to Notre Dame in 2017 (by 3 points).
Lost the next next year in the finals to Oregon (by 4 points).

Was on Gary's staff when the Ags won the NC.

That's right because once an Aggie, always an Aggie…

Unless you smartly take the highest paid job in your field and wear an orange tie. Then you're out.

I'm sure we had opportunities to hire him and did not. Don't blame him for taking the bag of cash like most would in his shoes.
