Klein has been better this season but last night he stunk it up. He is still likely to move on for another job eventually as a head coach. Who do you guys want/think is a good obtainable option when he decides to move on?

Whoever realizes we just need to keep advancing the ball. You only 3.5 yards a play. Don't get cute. Just keep moving the ball.

Turnovers and explosive plays are the 2 biggest metrics in winning games. Very hard to always manage 12-15 play drives for scores.

So who would/should we target if Klein moves on? Who does everyone think would be a good replacement

"4 things can happen you pass, 3 of them are bad." Run and run more till the defense just gives up.

Totally agree. Reed looked downfield a number of times, but never let it rip for whatever reason.

Most of us don't know who the best coordinators are. Would need some metrics given to determine who to suggest.

How about any of the play by play commentators? They were stating the obvious in many of our games. Klein has been extremely frustrating to watch this year. We definitely deserve better.

Complete, incomplete, interception. What's the 4th?

Well, then you didn't throw a pass. Might as well add strip-sack fumble if you're going to do that. Holding. Intentional grounding. Etc.....

That's an old Darrell Royal quote. "3 things can happen if you pass and 2 of them are bad."

OH!...but he's a young, up-and-coming OC (so the pundits say). So let's keep him; because someday, he may be good!

Well, if we're playing that game:

- Targeting
- Defensive holding
- Offensive holding
- Chop block
- Illegal participation (offensive or defensive)

Ad nauseum

Here's a list of college football's best offenses for this year:

Some of the coordinators are head coaches. Should we consider one of the others?

He has been solid. Klein needs to grab his nuts and go win a game when it is there for the taking. 2nd half of the texas game...dial up a plan to keep the offense on the field at all costs.

You are on the road. You make more money in year thay most people will make in a lifetime. Be great.

Not go 3 & out.

Some of this is on Reed. I love the kid - great leadership qualities, brings the juice, but he's simply limited as a passer. He's streaky at best, and really weak on the deep ball. That limits the scheme somewhat.

You rarely have a guy who does it all, plus has great leadership too - so it falls to Klein to maximize what he's got. I think maybe he's done that with Reed.

11-1 team that scores >30 in 10 games has a terrible OC. Fans are really, really stupid

He also had a Heisman trophy winner at QB and a legion of first rounders on offense. Even then…he lost two games.

We need an OC who actually understands his personnel and doesn't call the same three plays over and over again.

It's more the fact that Klein calls several good series and then all of a sudden calls a bunch of gar bag before finally going back to what works. I swear he take drives off and goes to get a hot dog at the concession stand.

Klein will become a genius again if a full strength LeVeon Moss and well rested and ready O-line begin to roll over our opponents during the playoffs.

Solid running game opens up other options for explosive plays.

Reed is very good and we are lucky to have him. He is only 6'2" and has never had to learn to be a pocket passer because of his speed. Texas made him stay in the pocket. Same thing we tried to do with Arch. Not many teams are fast enough on outside to contain him. The throws down field may or may not have been there but the few times he looked ready to throw he wouldn't have gotten his feet set before getting blasted. Probably needed some design rollouts or move the whole pocket. But to put it all on Klein and Reed isn't accurate. Our defensive front 7 could not get fits correct and got hammered in the run.

I am always yelling run the damn ball at the tv, and Klein seems to be pass happybut about half the time I'm yelling at the tv they throw and get big yards. Just have to take the bias towards passing as part of it.

We are 11-1 and going to the CFP.

This is the elephant in the room. Lot to like about him, but Im also not convinced he really reads defenses that well yet in addition to the above
