Take a week off. Regroup..play 1st round at night at KYLE. Rest of games after that are at neutral sites. Great spot to be in! Very rarely does a Natty winner have an undefeated season. Especially these days. Just so happens the sips got our number...for now. Hats off to Elko!!!!!

I get what youre saying but the reality is

We lost an undefeated season and Marcel likely lost an invite to New York for Heisman ceremony.
This season all we have heard is what a special season, how great this team was...and were not even playing in a conference title game.
As great as this season was we will be sitting at home and watching Championship games on TV.
If we want to elevate ourselves to a National level and get out of the Regional level...we need to appear in conference title games, win championships.
Now if we manage to win a national title..yeah alot (not all) is forgotten...but if we dont then the narrative of " its Texas A&M continues

A defense that can get off the field on 3 rd down
A coach that has the confidence to go for it on 4th a short and a team that can pick up the 4 th and short

The procedural calls that took out of short yardage yesterday were brutal

What everyone has left out is.....Coach Mike Elko is 11-1 in his 2nd season as a head coach with no Johnny* next to his name like Sumlin had. ... after his second year.

I didn't watch a single snap of last night's game, but my thoughts are, win or lose, we are playing another game before round 2 of the playoffs.

With a W yesterday, we'd be playing Georgia at a neutral site. Unless we had a really bad L in that game, we'd still get a first round bye.

With last night's L, we'll probably host a playoff game against a team inferior to Georgia (where an L ends our season). I'm guessing we host the ACC champ.

Not ideal losing last night, but not the end of the world or the season.

The loss to tu was one loss on the season. We played poorly. It doesn't negate everything that went before.

Many 1 (and even 2) loss teams are happy to be positioned where they are and are optimistic for success in the playoffs. Why must we act as if our dog just died?
