I blame a lot of the defensive struggles tonight on an ineffective pass rush. You have to remain fundamentally sound and in your lane against a rushing quarterback. Our ends (especially Howell) frequently ran right by Manning and left huge lanes for him to step up and run in. That's poor coaching. Would be much better to keep Manning bottled but it takes discipline from all rushers. I saw too many players looking to be heroes and out of their lane and it cost us tonight.
