Am I pissed about this game? Absolutely. This is the worst team for us to lose to.

But if at the start of the season you told me we would go 11-1 and be in the CFP, I would take it.

Time to get up from this faceplant and start fighting.

We got exposed. Looks like we are actually still middle of the pack in the SEC and had a soft schedule playing everyone in the bottom of the conference with a lucky win at ND. Making the playoffs only really matters if you actually have what it takes to win playoff games... I'd be happy to be wrong but lets be real, I'm probably not.

Agree to disagree. This is still a legit team, especially with a healthy Moss. We can make a run. Likely match up against OU, tech, or Ole Miss in the first round.

We need to win our first playoff game to salvage the season. We get bounced at home then that contract extension is gonna be more fuel for the fire

I'm not sure how good we are, but when I look back over the season, with Fran, Sherman, Sumlin, or Jimbo we are at best 8 - 4. So 11-1 feels like movement in the right direction. I do feel however, we have not yet fully arrived.

Poor run defense?
Bad kicking game?
Oline penalties?
Poor QB play?

We earned at least a home game in the CFP. Tu won't be in it unless ou and bama lose tomorrow and there is still no guarantee tu passes 2 loss Vandy. If all 3 teams win tu is the 7th best SEC team by having 3 losses and should have no chance. You can bet if these upsets happen they will make sure we are 7 and tu is 10 setting up a rematch at Kyle Field.

Michigan beating Ohio state is a repeat of tonight. OSU isn't in the B10 title game and joins us with 1 badly timed loss.
Indiana and Georgia could be the 1-2 seeds with Tech at 3 and Ohio State 4. Chaos could occur if there are a lot of upsets tomorrow.

Maybe we'll get Oklahoma instead of Notre Dame or Alabama. Looks like Alabama in the quarters, unless they can jump ND or OU if they win in Atlanta.

I think it's pretty obvious we're 11-1 due to playing an SEC schedule against the bottom half of the SEC.
Only team in top half we played was Texas and lost by 2 scores.

Bama, Ole Miss and Georgia all in contention and we didn't have to play a single one of them.

We let the worst team in the SEC run wise push us around and let a mobile QB destroy us, sorry but the playoff field is filled with mobile QBs and good running teams. This team better look a lot different if we don't want to be one and done.

Our two premier wins are against two teams the entire nation are claiming to be overrated and not deserving of the playoffs.
