Ou and sip is the weakest rivalry in all of sports. They are butt buddies. Never seen a fan base with a crush on each other outside of them two.

This is so true. Gay lovers the both of them. A&M has always been tu's biggest rival, and it's evident by who their fans talk about more. OU gained steam in the early 2000s when A&M was down-bad and obviously was the primary rival for 15 years after A&M left the Big 12.

For Texas, OU is the game you want to win. The Texas A&M game is the one you loathe to lose.

They try to act like A&M isn't their big rival until we go on a winning streak, at which point they will sell their firstborns to fund an army of zebras and journalists to bring us down. With NIL and the internet, the days of them being abke to tip the scale are largely over. Their influence on refs in the SEC, other than the typical home field psychological influence, remains to be seen. I believe their ability to have SWC refs in their pocket is also part of a bygone era.

I believe A&M, with Elko at the helm, is about to enter another period of dominance not seen since the 80s and early 90s!

It's surprising how many sips - or at least their t-shirt fans - don't know their fight song references A&M. They like to ridicule the War Hymn for referencing them without realizing their song does the same.

Back when the prize was an all expenses paid trip to a brothel, the taxpayers saved a bundle when t.u. won.

I saw an article on ESPN this morning that counted down the top 10 college football rivalries. You know how those play out, as you keep waiting for your favorite (whatever it might be) to appear. The tu-A&M rivalry didn't make the list but was mentioned under "other." I just found another one in which we didn't even make the secondary list. Both had tu-OU pretty high. I suspect the hiatus from playing each other has dimmed outsider perspective of the intensity of our rivalry. A big Aggie win tomorrow would help restore some of the luster. BTHOtu.

It wasn't until we left the Big 12 that I even realized they ever played each other.

I couldn't care less how they feel about us. I hate them right down to the ground. That's enough.

When Ags play OU who does Utrans pull for? Thought so. Enough said.

Honestly, I've surpassed hate for Texas. I simply don't care anymore about them, which, in my mind, is worse than hate. The 12 year break was nice. They're the same, as arrogant as ever, living in the past, blah blah. I now just enjoy the tradition of this game. But otherwise, they're just the next game on the schedule.

LSU is the team I hate most now.

As for the original point of this post? I think Texas hates OU like I hate LSU. Texas ridicules us like we ridicule them. So there's parity now. It's all in how you look at it.

That said, the stark differences between Texas A&M and the sips is just as true today as it has always been. Libtard, arrogant arseholes in Austin, vs common sense and hospitable students and fans in College Station. Would much rather send kids to Texas A&M than Austin. And SEC fans I come across in year two see it --- Texas should have gone to the Pac 12 years ago.
