I can see us struggling to run the ball, but Concepcion, Craver, B-R and our TEs should absolutely eat on this Texas secondary if Marcel is on…

I'll be amazed if our TEs and RBs don't have 100+ yards receiving and 2 TDs.

I dont see us struggling to run the ball. In fact, thanks to Reed having high mobility, we are likely to have 150+ yards on them. We have 4 guys with more rushing yards than their top rusher.

Im more impressed with our defense. Our defense avg rushing yards allowed is higher than the sip average rushing. We have a pretty stout defense that has let a few big plays get through, but remove those plays, which aren't many, and the rushing yards allowed drops even further. Theyre not going to run on us very well and Arch will be forced to throw. If we give him time, he'll look like a Heisman candidate but we hit him in the mouth early and often, and he'll turn into Uncle Rico.

Marcel plays far better on the road than he does at home.

I feel he's gonna light it up.

As long as he's running consistently to keep them off balance, we should score at least 35.

Sometimes our offense bogs down when we get target locked and fixated on running up the middle. the best thing the sips do is stopping this type of running.

Reed has been very good. But, the one game he felt pressure from the start he melted down. Reed can be streaky and needs a good start.

Prediction: Reed drops some dimes and we pull away in the 3rd.

Their rush D is pretty damn good and they are top 3 in takeaways.

Reed will need to get the ball off quickly, and I doubt he'll have time for long-developing play action passes.

No false starts or holding calls. Without a bunch of those, the O will light it up.

Penalties, turnovers and weather. That's how we dont score 40+

Don't think we have had a targeting call against us all year? Expect one on a 3rd and long.

Penalties, turnovers, and the weather could prevent us from scoring 40+ points, but I think we should score at least 31 points given the trends of our offense and Texas' defense. We scored 31+ points in 7 of our 8 games against Power 4 teams, including 6 of 7 SEC games, and the only exception was a 16-10 home win over Auburn. Our offense has been even better in road games and scored 38+ points in all 4 road games against Notre Dame, Arkansas, LSU, and Missouri. I think turnover margin will be the biggest deciding factor of this game, and I am predicting a close 38-31 road win to finish the regular season 12-0 (8-0 SEC).

We only lose this game if we play like we did against South Carolina

To me it comes down to Marcel having a clean game

To answer your question, the referees.

They will negate multiple big plays with phantom penalty calls.

What tu struggles with is giving up the explosive plays... their secondary breaks down from time to time. YAC will be huge as long as Marcel doesn't get too ancy and trusts his line and receivers
