KJ Edwards over him all day. Can't say I saw Hatton starting for us anytime soon as slow as he appears on tape. I got KJ Edwards as RB1before the end of next season. Speed kills.

Where has anyone stated he was "bad"? Fact is KJ Edwards is better. Hatton is a stud but Edwards is elite.

I wonder if this is what is leading Hatton to wavering/potentially flipping. If he looks at both OU and A&M's RB rooms, there is a LOT more comp at A&M.

Business decision. We are not short on good to great running backs. We've found a way to make sure we have multiple backs look good, but even so, that can be intimidating when another program has more opportunities to be featured. Good luck to him on all the game days that are not against us.

Maybe. Morrow was very underrated by fans perhaps as he is not from TX. Morrow is going to be ELITE. Other than the needed OL and DL, Morrow was the recruit I was most excited about (not including the WR portal additions). Morrow is just scratching the surface. He can run between the tackles and is a great receiver out of the backfield.

We will have KJ Edwards and if we get '27 RB Landen Williams-Callis (both elite homerun-speedsters), I'm not sure where Hatton would've been on the depth chart even in 2027's season. We play them, so hopefully he doesn't develop into being more unstoppable than whatever he is now. Crapshoot really, but Edwards & Williams-Callis are worth way more money right now.

my understanding is total roster 105 is only number that matters.

Anyone that can watch the OU offense and decides they want to be part of that disaster has major decision making issues.

My guess is behind the scenes, OU is getting desperate throwing around major $ on offensive talent and we decided to stand pat.

Pretty sure we wanted him to stay as the big back needed (closer to Moss and EJ). Think we'll try to land a RB in txfr portal as there's not enough bodies in that room (legit RBs…need more than 4 as injuries prove out yr in and yr out: 5 top RBs at min).
