Let's say they stay at 9. Play at OU 1st round.

I could easily see them beat OU to get to the quarters.

And yes, they can beat Ohio State in the Rose bowl.

I think OSU would be favored. Their defense has played well and they have 2 top receivers. I think this is a better ND team than last year but I think the result would be the same as the game last year as well.
A few things would need to break right for ND. Solid rushing game and win the turnover battle.

Dont know how good osu is. They haven't played anyone with NDs caliber of offense and will not do so until the big 10 championship.

In this day and age d age of college football, I'd say almost any very good team can beat any other very good team

We don't really know how good ND is because of their schedule. I think they'd lose to any SEC team in the playoffs along with Ohio State. Playing a schedule with nothing but service academies and bottom tier ACC teams will mask a lot of flaws. The Syracuse team they beat up on yesterday is 3-8.

Pitt ain't chopped liver and neither is USC. We also don't know how good Ohio State is because their best win is Texas…at home.
