We played an easy (by SEC standards) schedule, but it's still tougher than Ohio State's and lots tougher than Indiana's.

On the other hand, a month ago I'd never heard of Heather Dinnich, and within a month of the final selection I'll likely have forgotten her.

A&M just needs to keep winning. Don't give that worthless committee any chance to screw them over.

Last year it was the sips who had the easy SEC schedule and did well. The difference? - ESPN was pumping them up all season not trying to tear them down about it....

All this ESPN garbage will just give Elko and crew some additional motivation to win and gain respect. As far as I'm concerned I love them acting like we're the underdog, as we tend to play better in that position.

ESPN Analytics will bankrupt you in Vegas.

ND will be a tough out for any team. We beat them at their place. Best win since 2012. Best win in the SEC this year with the possible exception of the Tide at UGA.

It will be held against us that we didn't play UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, but we did not control the sched.

No one will use preseason rankings to give us any credit (think ND, LSU, Mizzou, USCe were all ranked and probably above us). Het it as preseason rankings are worthless.

Although we'll still make CFP, if tu outscores, narrative will be that we are frauds and will fall outside of the top 6-8 easily. Game means more than more realize for true respect.

Sagarin has our strength of schedule at 14th in the country. Ohio state is 40th, Indiana is 50th.

Flip side to that coin. They are glad they did not play us.

And most of what she stated was slanted. If you cannot see it, that is on you.

ESiPN is terrible at this. I tend to listen to the sportsbooks.

FanDuel as of this morning has us at -2.5 over sips.

They also have us picked for the SEC championship:

Georgia +200

Alabama +200

Ole Miss +1500

And for all the hand wringing Sips are doing about our soft SEC schedule, when we beat them in Austin.... their 5-3 SEC record won't help our cause because they will be 8th in SEC and middling.

The only reason their schedule looks tougher is because they lost 2 games and it floats the W total of the teams they face.

There is absolutely nothing we can do to earn public accolades from ESPN and other national media. Nothing. They have been given the narrative of crapping on our parade because we have to be painted as the bad guy.

I posted last week about the narrative change that needs to happen and was ridiculed for it but the fact is, the narrative that t.u. is a blue chip, puts us square in the villain position. For those of you new Ags and posters without Ag tags, you have no idea the depth of this rivalry. It goes far beyond the football field. It is pervasive in business, law, and the legislature and the media. There is nowhere that this rivalry doesnt play out and to downplay this just goes to show how little you actually know about the generations deep level of animosity between the two schools. This is nothing like the cute flirtations between Ohio St and Michigan, or Notre Dame and USC. Not even their red river rivalry hits as deep or as beyond the football field as the one between our schools.

Until Aggies in media start addressing the house of cards being the sip marketing program, the narrative will continue.
