I have heard that the renovations scheduled for Bright this offseason, are as follows.

NEW LOCKER ROOM
NEW COACHE'S OFFICES
NEW TRAINING ROOM'
NEW TEAM MEETING ROOM
NEW LOBBY

I think we updated it pretty heavily during Sumlin's tenure.

They actually renovated team meeting rooms, and a dinning room just for the football team. But they did not totally renovate Bright like was planned, in the centennial campaign.

Again certain aspects of the building were renovated in the centennial campaign. Not everything in Bright was renovated, you are correct the locker room was renovated in the Sumlin era. That was a very long time ago, we need to keep up with other programs. Weather you like it or not, this is how college football works.

A&M wouldn't be A&M if there weren't at least 3 separate construction projects going at any given time.

I've been in the A&M locker room under Sumlin, had a kid from our youth team that was a CB. I've also done the tour at AT&T. The Cowboys gameday locker room is a significant step down. From current college locker rooms. Crazy.

Because the lack of discipline under the previous coaching staff allowed players to destroy, tear up and abuse the facility. There was no respect so they treat it like crap.

It's because NFL owners are bloodsucking penny pinchers.

There was a story just this week about the owners trying to get the NLFPA to stop doing their report card each year that tells which franchises are really cutting corners regarding taking care of their players.

I was on the Kyle field renovation general contractor team. The locker room renovation was more expensive than building a brand new hospital based on a $/sf comparison. They spared no expense in that renovation.

Most likely because the arms race in college football started before NIL and was the main bling to attract recruits. The pros are more concerned with $ in their own pocket and average facilities are ok. Average is still pretty damn nice. Will facilities in college football continue to get the focus they have? Maybe not now with NIL. Don't get me wrong, they're still important but have lost some of the shine since NIL is king.

Turned it into a Ptarmigan Club look, with a massage parlor accent during the Sumlin years.
